Growing up, I spent a lot of time in my mother’s dance studio. I would sit back and watch the dancers move through space to make beautiful lines and patterns. I've always sensed a certain rhythm in life. I’ve learned that if I shift myself into neutral I can take the rhythm for a ride; absorbing stimuli along the way. This is mimicked by going out into the world and collecting images with my camera. I then use paint and an image transfer process to  push and pull several layers of information through the picture plane, creating a source of energy.
